PH Navy christens BRP Rajah Lakandula, boosting modernization

OLONGAPO CITY — The Philippine Navy announced on Thursday that it formally christened BRP Rajah Lakandula (PS21), its newest Rajah Sulayman-class offshore patrol vessel, at the Naval Operating Base in nearby Subic town in Zambales. During the ceremony held at Quay 7 on Wednesday, the Navy formally unveiled the vessel’s name and bow number, signifying its integration into its fleet and signaling its future role in strengthening the country’s maritime defense and security capabilities.
