Police officer who shot dead knife-wielding man at busy railway station is cleared by watchdog – saying ‘proportionate’ force was used

David Joyce was fatally shot in the abdomen by a firearms officer on April 1 last year after he ran towards them and another armed officer outside Milton Keynes Central station.
