Readers respond: Support transportation accountability before tolling

During the May election, almost 83% of voters rejected $4.3 billion in new transportation taxes, (“Oregonians won’t see higher gas tax as Measure 120 goes down with strong opposition,” May 19). Ultimately, more than 970,000 Oregonians voted “no.”
