Remulla to Bato dela Rosa: ‘It would be best if you surrender’

MANILA, Philippines — Interior Secretary Jonvic Remulla appealed to Sen. Ronald “Bato” dela Rosa to surrender amid the International Criminal Court (ICC) arrest warrant issued against the latter. In an interview with reporters in Camp Karingal in Quezon City on Friday, Remulla said law enforcers’ search for the senator so far has failed to find him but added that “there are always leads” and that the whole 225,000 police force is searching for him across the country. “Please surrender,” Remulla said when asked for his appeal to dela Rosa.
