Sandiganbayan 5th Division gets Estrada’s new plunder, graft raps

MANILA, Philippines — The Sandiganbayan Fifth Division will handle Sen. Jinggoy Estrada’s new graft case over alleged kickbacks amounting to P573 million from Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) projects. READ: P573M ‘systematically delivered’ to Jinggoy Estrada in 3rd plunder case During the case raffle, the Fifth Division was chosen to handle the plunder case and one count of graft against Estrada and his co-accused. The raffle was conducted just a few hours after the Office of the Ombudsman filed the cases against the respondents before the court.
