Stock market holiday on Bakri Id: Are BSE, NSE closed for trading today?

Dalal Street participants will experience a shortened trading week as both NSE and BSE will be closed on Thursday, May 28, for Bakri Id. This holiday follows the Maharashtra Day closure and is one of 16 scheduled for 2026. Commodity markets will have a partial closure, with MCX resuming evening trade while NCDEX remains shut.
