The Notre Dame Fighting Irish men's lacrosse team looks to advance but will have to get through the Syracuse Orange first. The two schools with ACC ties meet in the NCAA semifinals Saturday in Charlottesville, Virginia.

This isn't a new step for the Irish, who have won two of the last three NCAA Championships, with titles in 2023 and 2024. Notre Dame owns a 32-26 record in its 29 trips to the NCAA Championship. Josh Yago was huge in ND's 15-9 win over Johns Hopkins in the quarterfinals, finishing with three goals and four assists.

As for the Orange, they're the only returning semifinal team from last year. Syracuse took down No. 4 North Carolina behind a six-point day from Joey Spallina. They'll need him to be on fire again in this match-up.

The winner advances to Monday’s national championship game against No. 1 Princeton, who defeated Duke 14-7 on Saturday.
