أحمد الشرع يفتتح جسر الرستن في حمص

افتتح الرئيس أحمد الشرع جسر الرستن في محافظة حمص‏، وذلك ‏عقب إعادة تأهيله وتطويره‏ ليوضع في الخدمة أمام الحركة المروية.

 

وحضر الافتتاح الأمين العام لرئاسة الجمهورية، عبد الرحمن بدر الدين الأعمى، ‏ووزير النقل يعرب بدر، ووزير الطوارئ وإدارة الكوارث رائد الصالح، ووزير ‏الأشغال العامة والإسكان مصطفى عبد الرزاق، ومحافظ حمص مرهف النعسان، ‏ومحافظ حماة عبد الرحمن السهيان.

ويسهم افتتاح جسر الرستن وإعادة وضعه في الخدمة، بشكل كبير في تسهيل ‏الحركة المرورية وتخفيف ‏زمن ‏الرحلات والحد من الحوادث، إذ يعد الجسر ممراً استراتيجياً مهماً، وسط سوريا، لما يشكله من عقدة وصل ‏رئيسية وشريان ‏اقتصادي يربط جنوب البلاد بشمالها.

 

 

يشار إلى أن مشروع تأهيل جسر الرستن تم تنفيذه بالتنسيق مع وزارة الأشغال ‏العامة والإسكان من قبل كل من الدفاع المدني السوري، بالشراكة مع برنامج الأمم ‏المتحدة الإنمائي ‏UNDP‏، ‏وبتمويل من صندوق الأمم المتحدة الإنساني لسوريا ‌‏”‏SHF‏”.
