تواجه أمهات سودانيات في مخيمات شرق تشاد مأساة العطش والجوع ونقص المساعدات الإنسانية الحاد.
دفنت أمهات أطفالهن في الرمال بسبب فقدان الأمل في إنقاذهم من العطش الشديد.
تعاني الأسر من نقص حاد في المياه النظيفة والرعاية الطبية وسط ظروف مناخية قاسية.
تواجه المنظمات الدولية صعوبات ميدانية في توفير حلول طويلة الأمد لإمدادات المياه للمخيمات.

في شرق تشاد، لا تنتهي مأساة الحرب السودانية عند عبور الحدود، فآلاف اللاجئين يواجهون في مخيمات الصحراء العطش والجوع وفقدان أبسط مقومات الحياة.
