ارتفاع السكتة الدماغية بين الشباب بأكثر من 80% خلال 27 عامًا

ارتفع معدل الإصابة بالسكتة الدماغية الأولى بين الأشخاص الذين تتراوح أعمارهم بين 20 و54 عامًا في منطقة سينسيناتي الكبرى وشمال ولاية كنتاكي من نحو 34 حالة لكل 100 ألف شخص في عامي 1993 و1994 إلى أكثر من 62 حالة عام 2020، وفق دراسة جديدة. وفي المقابل، انخفض معدل الوفيات خلال 30 يومًا من الإصابة بالسكتة الدماغية خلال الفترة ذاتها. ما السبب؟
