نعت النقابة العامة لأطباء مصر ببالغ الحزن والأسى الشهيد الطبيب الدكتور جمال أبو عون، رئيس قسم التخدير بمستشفى يافا في قطاع غزة، الذي ارتقى اليوم جراء استهداف الاحتلال لمدينة دير البلح وسط قطاع غزة.

وقالت في بيان لها، السبت، إن استشهاد الدكتور جمال أبو عون ومن قبله الكثيرين يضاف إلى سجل طويل من الجرائم والانتهاكات التي يرتكبها الاحتلال الإسرائيلي بحق المدنيين والطواقم الطبية والمنشآت الصحية في قطاع غزة، في تحد صارخ لكل القوانين والمواثيق الدولية والإنسانية.

ودعت النقابة المجتمع الدولي والأمم المتحدة والمنظمات الحقوقية والإنسانية إلى الخروج من دائرة الصمت واتخاذ إجراءات عاجلة وفعالة لوقف الانتهاكات المستمرة، وتوفير الحماية للطواقم الطبية والمدنيين، ومحاسبة المسؤولين عن الجرائم المرتكبة وفقًا لأحكام القانون الدولي والعدالة الإنسانية.

واختتمت: رحم الله الشهيد الطبيب جمال أبو عون، وبقيت سيرته شاهدا على بطولة الأطباء في فلسطين المحتلة الذين يواصلون أداء واجبهم الإنساني تحت القصف وفي مواجهة الموت.
