الأمين العام العاشر للأمم المتحدة.. آلية اختياره وهل تتولى امراة رئاسة المنظمة للمرة الأولى؟

ما يعرفه ريفو عن الخبر

تجري عملية اختيار الأمين العام العاشر للأمم المتحدة عبر مرحلتين تشملان توصية مجلس الأمن ثم تعيين الجمعية العامة.
يتطلب اختيار المرشح في مجلس الأمن الحصول على تسع أصوات مؤيدة دون اعتراض من الدول الخمس دائمة العضوية.
تشجع قرارات الجمعية العامة ترشيح النساء للمنصب رغم عدم وجود شرط قانوني لذلك، مع وجود مرشحات لهذا الدور.
من المتوقع أن يتولى الأمين العام الجديد مهامه في الأول من يناير 2027 خلفاً للأمين العام الحالي.

تتجه الأنظار إلى الآلية التي تحكم اختيار الشخصية التي ستقود الأمم المتحدة خلال السنوات الخمس المقبلة، في عملية تجمع بين قواعد قانونية حددها ميثاق الأمم المتحدة والتوازنات السياسية.
