الاتحاد الأوروبي يحذر “ميتا” من غرامات ويطالبها بتعديل خصائص تسبب الإدمان في إنستاغرام وفيس بوك

كشفت النتئاج الأولية لتحقيق أجرته المفوضية الأوروبية عن انتهاك شركة “ميتا” المالكة لفيس بوك وإنستاغرام لقواعد الاتحاد الأوروبي الخاصة بالتكنولوجيا. وتتهم الجهة التنظيمية المعنية بالتكنولوجيا في التكتل ميتا بتصميم خصائص تهدف لإبقاء المستخدمين متصلين بالمنصات لأطول فترة ممكنة، والتي تسهم بالاستخدام القهري والإدمان. وطلبت المفوضية من عملاقة التكنولوجيا تعديل خصائصها تحت طائلة فرض غرامة قد تصل إلى ستة بالمئة من إجمالي إيراداتها السنوية العالمية.
