الاتحاد الأوروبي يطالب بوقف فوري للحرب وفتح مضيق هرمز ويعلن عقوبات جديدة على إيران

دعا الاتحاد الأوروبي، اليوم الاثنين، إلى وقفٍ فوري للحرب الدائرة في الشرق الأوسط، وفتح مضيق هرمز أمام حركة الملاحة البحرية. كما شدَّد على ضرورة توصل واشنطن وطهران إلى اتفاق.

وأعلنت الممثلة العليا للسياسة الخارجية الأوروبية، كايا كالاس، أنه “يجب وقف هذه الحرب فوراً وفتح مضيق هرمز، وإجراء مناقشات أطول بشأن الموضوعات الأكثر تعقيداً”.

وأعلن الاتحاد أن وزراء دفاع دوله يبحثون تعزيز قدرات مهمة “أسبيدس” في البحر الأحمر، مشيراً إلى أنه سيطبق اليوم عقوبات جديدة على إيران لعرقلتها حرية الملاحة.
