المعارضة الفنزويلية تدعو لانتخابات جديدة بديموقراطية حقيقية

أعلن المرشح السابق للرئاسة الفنزويلية، إدموندو غونزاليس أوروتيا، من منفاه في إسبانيا، دعمه لإجراء انتخابات رئاسية جديدة بهدف إرساء ما وصفه بديموقراطية حقيقية في فنزويلا، مجددا اصطفافه إلى جانب قوى المعارضة المطالبة بانتقال سياسي في البلاد.

ويُعد غونزاليس أوروتيا، الدبلوماسي السابق البالغ 76 عاما، الشخصية التي تعتبرها المعارضة الرئيس المنتخب بعد انتخابات 2024، بعدما اتهمت السلطات بتزوير نتائج الاقتراع الذي أُعلن فيه فوز الرئيس نيكولاس مادورو.

وأكد أوروتيا تأييده لزعيمة المعارضة ماريا كورينا ماتشادو، الحائزة جائزة نوبل للسلام، والتي تدعو إلى تنظيم انتخابات جديدة عقب التطورات السياسية الأخيرة.

وقال « إن اجتماعا عقد في بنما جمع ماتشادو والقوى الديموقراطية الفنزويلية حول هدف واحد هو حرية فنزويلا »، مشددا على وحدة صفوف المعارضة.

وأشادت ماتشادو بأوروتيا، واصفة إياه بأنه مثال للخدمة والتفاني للوطن، معتبرة أن فنزويلا الجديدة تحمل اسمه محفورا في قلبها.

وأعلنت، الخميس المنصرم، استعدادها للتفاوض مع الحكومة بشأن انتقال ديموقراطي يفضي إلى تنظيم انتخابات رئاسية حرة وشفافة وذات سيادة.

وحلّ أورتيا في اللحظة الأخيرة محل ماتشادو في انتخابات 2024 بعد استبعادها من الترشح، قبل أن يغادر إلى المنفى في إسبانيا في شتنبر 2024 إثر صدور مذكرة توقيف بحقه.
