يرفع اليمين المتطرف شعار حماية النساء والفتيات ليبرر العداء للمهاجرين والمسلمين، بينما تكشف ممارساته وخطابه عن عنصرية واضحة ونفاق عميق في التعامل مع العنف ضد المرأة. الحركات التي تدّعي الدفاع عن النساء تتجاهل جذور العنف القائم على النوع الاجتماعي، وتحوّل قضايا الناجيات إلى أداة دعائية تخدم أجندة قومية معادية للنسوية.
