يستقبل المسلمون اليوم، الثلاثاء غرة شهر المحرم و بداية العام الهجري الجديد 1448 هجريًا، حيث استطلعَت دارُ الإفتاءِ المصريةُ هلالَ شهرِ المحرم لعام ألفٍ وأربعمائةٍ وثمانية وأربعين هجريًّا بعد غروب شمس أمس، الاثنين التاسع والعشرين من شهر ذي الحجة لعام ألفٍ وأربعمائةٍ وسبعة وأربعين هجريًّا، الموافق الخامس
