بركان يثور و”ينظف” التلوث الصادر عنه.. علماء يدرسون حالة غريبة

(CNN)– عندما ثار بركان تحت الماء بجنوب المحيط الهادئ في يناير/كانون الثاني من عام 2022، تسبب ذلك بعمود من الرماد، والبخار، والغاز امتد لمسافة 64 كيلومترًا تقريبًا فوق سطح الأرض.

كان ذلك أحد أعنف الثورات البركانية في العصر الحديث، ويُحتمل أنّه كَشَف أيضًا عن سلاح جديد في مكافحة غاز يساهم بشكل كبير في احترار كوكب الأرض، وفقًا لأبحاث جديدة.

ثار بركان “هونغا تونغا-هونغا هاباي” بقوةٍ فاقت قوة الانفجار النووي في هيروشيما باليابان بمئات المرات، ما أدى إلى حدوث تسونامي وصوت انفجار…
