تستغل الأرجنتين ثغرة في لوائح الاتحاد الدولي لكرة القدم لإبقاء القميص رقم 10 شاغرا بعد اعتزال ليونيل ميسي.
يستفيد الجهاز الفني من غياب القيود على ترقيم القمصان في المباريات الودية لتأجيل اختيار من سيرث الرقم حتى عام 2027.
يعد نيكو باز وجوليان ألفاريز من أبرز المرشحين المحتملين لخلافة ميسي في ارتداء القميص رقم 10.

رغم اعتزال الأسطورة ليونيل ميسي اللعب الدولي إلا أن قميصه لم يمنح بعد للاعب آخر وفقا لما تنص عليه لوائح الاتحاد الدولي لكرة القدم (فيفا).
