دراسة: تخفيف القيود التنظيمية يمنح البنوك الأميركية والبريطانية أفضلية توسعية

كشفت دراسة حديثة أن تخفيف القيود التنظيمية في الولايات المتحدة وبريطانيا سمح لكبرى البنوك بتوسيع ميزانياتها العمومية بنحو 1.3 تريليون دولار خلال الربعين الماضيين، في وقت تواجه فيه البنوك الأوروبية والسويسرية متطلبات رأسمالية أكثر تشدداً.

وبحسب الدراسة الصادرة عن شركة "ألفاريز آند مارسال" فإن سياسات تخفيف القيود الرقابية في واشنطن ولندن قد تتيح للبنوك الأميركية والبريطانية زيادة أصولها بنحو 2.9 تريليون دولار.

بينما ستؤدي القواعد الجديدة في أوروبا إلى تقليص القدرة التمويلية لسبعة من أكبر البنوك الأوروبية بنحو 1.3 تريليون يورو.

وتشير الدراسة إلى أن الإصلاحات الجديدة بالولايات المتحدة ستسمح لثمانية من أكبر البنوك بتوسيع ميزانياتها بنحو 2.5 تريليون دولار، أي ما يعادل نمواً بنسبة 15%.

وفي بريطانيا، تستفيد البنوك من خفض متطلبات رأس المال بنحو 12 مليار دولار، مما يمنحها القدرة على توسيع أصولها بحوالي 400 مليار دولار.

في المقابل، تواجه بنوك أوروبية كبرى، من بينها "بي إن بي باريبا" و"دويتشه بنك" و"سانتاندير"، زيادة في متطلبات رأس المال بقيمة إجمالية تصل إلى 39 مليار يورو.
