قس ديمقراطي يهدد هيمنة جمهورية استمرت قرنا في كانساس بالولايات المتحدة

يواجه القس الديمقراطي آدم هاميلتون في انتخابات مجلس الشيوخ تحدياً كبيراً لكسر هيمنة الحزب الجمهوري في ولاية كانساس المستمرة منذ قرن.
يعد السباق الانتخابي بين هاميلتون والسيناتور الجمهوري روجر مارشال من أغلى المعارك في تاريخ الولاية بتجاوز الإنفاق الإعلاني 84 مليون دولار.
