قال أمير قلعه نويي إن فريقه تلقى أمرا بالعودة جوا إلى تيخوانا بعد ساعات من تعادله اثنان-اثنان مع نيوزيلندا يوم الإثنين، بينما وصف القائد مهدي طارمي ذلك بأنه “كارثة بالنسبة إلينا”، مضيفا أن “هدفنا وأمنيتنا السعي إلى السلام والسعادة”.
