منظمة: تفشي الكوليرا يهدد مئات الآلاف في «الأبيض» وسط نقص الغذاء ومياه الشرب

الأبيض 1 أغسطس 2026 – قالت منظمة بلان إنترناشونال، السبت، إن الوضع الإنساني في مدينة الأبيض بولاية شمال كردفان غربي السودان أوشك على التحول إلى كارثة جراء انتشار الكوليرا، وسط نقص في الغذاء ومياه الشرب. وتبلغ فجوة مياه الشرب في مدينة الأبيض نحو 70%، نتيجة خروج المصادر الرئيسية للإمداد المائي عن الخدمة جراء حصار وهجمات قوات الدعم السريع، إلى جانب تضاعف عدد السكان بسبب تدفق النازحين. وقالت المنظمة، في بيان، إن “مئات الآلاف من سكان مدينة الأبيض يواجهون كارثة إنسانية مع انتشار تفشٍّ مميت للكوليرا في المدينة، بالتزامن مع نقص كارثي في الغذاء ومياه الشرب”. وأشارت إلى أن الوضع الإنساني في الأبيض على شفا التحول إلى كارثة، جراء تفشي الكوليرا في أجزاء من المدينة، في أعقاب الأضرار الواسعة التي لحقت بالمراكز الصحية والبنية التحتية للصرف الصحي، قبل أن يتفاقم الوضع بفعل الأمطار وسوء أوضاع الإصحاح في مواقع النازحين. وأوضحت أن المدنيين في الأبيض يواجهون، بعد أشهر من الأعمال العدائية المطولة في المنطقة، نقصاً كارثياً في الغذاء ومياه الشرب. وتستضيف مدينة الأبيض 105 ألف نازح يقيمون في مخيمات ومراكز إيواء، ويُخشى أن يزداد وضعهم حرجاً جراء هجمات الدعم السريع على المدارس ومحطات الوقود والكهرباء والأسواق. ونجح الجيش، خلال عملية عسكرية نفذها الأسبوع السابق، في إبعاد خطر شن قوات الدعم السريع هجوماً …
