“ميتا” تتوصل إلى تسوية تاريخية مع ولايات أمريكية في قضية اتهامها بتشجيع إدمان القاصرين

وافقت شركة “ميتا”، الأربعاء، على دفع أكثر من 16 مليار دولار وإجراء تغييرات كبيرة على فيسبوك وإنستاغرام في إطار تسوية لدعاوى رفعتها ولايات بمناطق مختلفة من البلاد، زعمت فيها أن الشركة صممت المنصتين بهدف إثارة إدمان لدى الأطفال وتضليل المستهلكين بشأن سلامة منصاتها. ولا تزال هناك دعاوى قضائية عديدة رفعها مستخدمون شبان في مختلف أنحاء البلاد، يتهمون فيها “ميتا” بالتسبب في إدمانهم على منصات التواصل الاجتماعي ومفاقمة اضطراباتهم النفسية والسلوكية.
