“وكيل الاتصالات” يبحث مع “هواوي” مجالات التعاون بالقطاع

التقى الشيخ أحمد بن عيسى بن دعيج آل خليفة الوكيل المساعد للاتصالات بوزارة المواصلات والاتصالات، وفدًا من شركة هواوي ضم ديفيد داي نائب الرئيس لمنطقة الخليج لقطاع حلول وخدمات تكنولوجيا المعلومات والاتصالات، ومدير العلاقات الحكومية والشؤون العامة بالشركة وو زي.
وأكد الوكيل المساعد للاتصالات أهمية مواصلة تعزيز التعاون وتبادل الخبرات مع الشركات التقنية الرائدة، بما يسهم في ترسيخ مكانة مملكة البحرين كمركز إقليمي رائد للخدمات الرقمية والاتصالات.
 وجرى خلال اللقاء بحث سبل تعزيز التعاون وتبادل الخبرات، إلى جانب مناقشة عدد من الموضوعات ذات الصلة بتطورات قطاع الاتصالات. كما استعرض الجانبان مستجدات تقنية الجيل الخامس المتقدم 5G-Advanced وما توفره من إمكانات تسهم في تعزيز كفاءة الشبكات، ورفع جاهزية البنية التحتية.
وتناول اللقاء أبرز مخرجات وتوجهات الخطة الوطنية السادسة للاتصالات، وما تحقق في إطارها من إنجازات داعمة لتطوير القطاع، إلى جانب مناقشة التصورات الأولية للمرحلة المقبلة.
