ADC: Dumebi-led Faction Announces Another Convention
The African Democratic Congress, led by Dumebi Kachikwu, has announced plans to hold its national convention in Abuja on Sunday as part of preparations for the 2027 general elections.
The announcement was made in a press invitation issued by the faction’s Acting National Working Committee Chairman, Kingsley Temitope Ogah.
Ogah said the convention would bring together party leaders, delegates, state executives, youth and women representatives, and political stakeholders from across the country.
“The convention is part of the party’s strategic preparations ahead of the 2027 general elections and is expected to bring together party leaders, delegates, state executives, youth and women representatives, and political stakeholders from across the federation,” he said
According to Ogah, the gathering will deliberate on the future direction of the party, strengthen its internal democratic structures, and oversee the emergence of members of the National Working Committee, as well as other critical decisions concerning the party’s participation in the 2027 electoral process.
“The convention will also provide a platform for robust discussions on national development, political inclusion, grassroots mobilisation, and the need to build a stronger democratic alternative capable of addressing Nigeria’s pressing challenges,” he added.
The event is scheduled to hold at A-Class Garden, Wuse 2, Abuja
