Crews race to flush contaminated Longview mill runoff toward Columbia River to protect drinking water
Officials are now deliberately flushing contaminated ditch water from Longview’s industrial area toward the Columbia River in an effort to keep a caustic chemical spill away from nearby homes and the city’s drinking water.
