Davido constructs multi-billion naira mansion in Lagos
Music star David Adeleke, better known as Davido, has commenced the construction of a luxury mansion valued at approximately N8 billion in Eko Atlantic City.
The singer made the disclosure during a recent visit to the project site, where he revealed that he purchased the land in January 2024 for about N4 billion.
According to him, the value of the property has risen considerably since the acquisition, with its current estimated worth standing at around N8 billion.
Davido explained that the planned residence will be a four-storey family home designed to provide comfort, luxury and privacy for members of his household.
He stated that each floor of the building will be dedicated to different members of the family, including himself, his wife, Chioma Rowland, and their children. The arrangement, he noted, is intended to give every family member adequate personal space while maintaining a shared family environment.
The mansion is being developed within Eko Atlantic City, one of Lagos’ most prestigious waterfront developments, renowned for its upscale residential and commercial properties and for attracting high-net-worth individuals and investors.
With construction now underway, the project is expected to add to the growing collection of luxury homes within the exclusive coastal city.
