Man found drowned after falling into Subang Jaya lake
SUBANG JAYA: A man was found drowned after allegedly falling into a lake here today.
Selangor Fire and Rescue Department assistant director of operations Ahmad Mukhlis Mukhtar said the department received an emergency call at 4.48pm.
He said a team from the Subang Jaya fire station was deployed and arrived at the scene at 4.57pm.
“The operations commander said witnesses saw the man fall into the lake. His body was later recovered by firemen using a grappling hook,” he said.
The victim’s identity has yet to be established.
The operation, involving five firefighters and a fire engine, ended at 5.15pm after the body was retrieved.
The remains were handed over to police for further action.
