Poland Scrambles Fighter Jets During Massive Russian Assault on Ukraine

The night of Saturday-Sunday, the Operational Command of the Polish Armed Forces scrambled fighter jets and activated nationwide air defense monitoring networks in response to a massive, combined Russian bombardment across Ukraine. Warsaw confirmed that it deployed all available tactical aviation assets and placed ground-based radar and anti-aircraft missile units on maximum alert to guard its sovereign airspace along the Ukrainian border.
