President Sisi reviews armed forces’ role in national development projects
President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi held a meeting today with General Ashraf Salem Zahir, Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces and Minister of Defense and Military Production, Major General Amir Sayed Ahmed, Presidential Advisor for Urban Planning, and Major General Mohamed Rabie, Head of Armed Forces Operations Authority.
According to Presidential Spokesman Ambassador Mohamed El-Shenawy, the meeting addressed several files related to the activities and responsibilities of the Armed Forces, particularly their contributions to national projects. The discussions emphasized the military’s role in supporting state institutions to enhance public services and advance Egypt’s comprehensive development vision, thereby contributing to sustainable growth.
President Sisi underscored the importance of expediting the implementation of various phases of national projects across the country, stressing the need for precision and technical efficiency to achieve the ultimate goal of ensuring a dignified and decent life for all citizens.
He also praised the efforts of Egyptian institutions in confronting challenges posed by successive global and regional crises, expressing his pride in the dedication and sacrifices of the Armed Forces in safeguarding the nation and protecting its national security.
