Prof Gwarzo hails Benin President Romuald on inauguration

The Founder and President of MAAUN Group of Universities, Professor Adamu Abubakar Gwarzo, has congratulated the newly inaugurated President of the Republic of Benin, President Romuald Wadagni, describing his emergence as a historic milestone for both Benin Republic and the African continent.

Professor Gwarzo conveyed his congratulatory message shortly after the inauguration ceremony, during which President Wadagni delivered a stirring address focused on national cohesion, regional cooperation, and African solidarity.

According to Le Point, Professor Gwarzo was among the distinguished personalities invited to attend the inauguration ceremony but was unavoidably absent due to circumstances beyond his control.

In his inaugural speech, President Wadagni pledged to lead with inclusiveness and strengthen ties among African nations, particularly neighboring countries.

The address has since been widely viewed as a powerful call for renewed continental unity and stronger regional integration.

Reacting to the development, Professor Gwarzo commended the Beninese leader for promoting the ideals of African brotherhood, collective progress, and peaceful coexistence, noting that the vision outlined in the speech reflects the aspirations of millions of Africans seeking a more united, stable, and prosperous continent.

The renowned philanthropist and educationist stated that President Wadagni’s emphasis on transcending borders and fostering stronger relationships among African states demonstrates visionary, responsible, and forward-looking leadership.

According to Professor Gwarzo, sustainable growth and lasting stability in Africa can only be achieved when leaders embrace cooperation, mutual respect, and unity of purpose beyond political and geographical boundaries.

He further expressed optimism that the new administration in Benin would usher in an era of peace, economic prosperity, and stronger diplomatic and economic collaboration among African nations.

Professor Gwarzo also urged President Wadagni to remain steadfast in implementing policies that promote regional integration, youth empowerment, educational advancement, and harmonious coexistence across the continent.

Reaffirming his belief in the power of visionary leadership and continental solidarity, Professor Gwarzo stated that President Wadagni’s inauguration has renewed hope for a stronger, more united, and progressive Africa.
