TS Domeng’s indirect effect, southwesterly winds to drench PH
MANILA, Philippines — Tropical Storm Domeng is not expected to make landfall in the country but may enhance the southwesterly windflow, triggering rains over several parts of the country on Friday, the state weather bureau said. According to the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa), Domeng was last spotted 1,345 kilometers east of southeastern Luzon. Domeng is packing maximum sustained winds of 75 kilometers per hour (kph) near the center and gustiness of up to 90 kph while moving northwestward at 20 kph.
