جلسة “ساخنة” لوزير دفاع أمريكا في الكونغرس بسبب حرب إيران.. ماذا حدث؟

(CNN)– مثل وزير الدفاع الأمريكي بيت هيغسيث، الثلاثاء، أمام مجلس الشيوخ للمرة الأولى منذ تجدد التصعيد في الصراع الأمريكي الإيراني هذا الشهر.

وعقدت هذه الجلسة أمام لجنة المخصصات في مجلس الشيوخ للنظر في طلب لتمويل إضافي، وذلك في وقت تسعى فيه إدارة الرئيس الأمريكي دونالد ترامب لحشد دعم أعضاء الكونغرس للحصول على عشرات المليارات من الدولارات لتمويل الحرب المستمرة على إيران.

وشهدت الجلسة مشادات كلامية بين هيغسيث ومشرعين، حيث ضغطت السيناتور كيرستن جيليبراند عليه بشأن تبرير إدارة…
